Monthly Checklist

• Check all a/c filters - Replace as needed
• Check fire extinguishers to ensure they are properly charged
• Replace all burnt-out light bulbs
• Check all electical outlets marked "GFCI Protected" outlets by pressing test button 
• Adjust all sprinkler heads for proper coverage
• Clean the kitchen disposal blades with ice (Citrus fruit peel or baking soda will give a fresh smell)

6-month Checklist

• Check all exterior caulking at doors, windows and trim
• Touch up paint inside and outside as needed
• Check all windows for proper operation and for damaged screens
• Tighten all screws on door knobs and locks
• Test all smoke detectors for proper operation (replace batteries as needed)
• Lubricate all hardware and moving parts at doors as needed
• Oil all moving parts at the overhead garage door
• Visually inspect the roof for any damage or missing shingles
• Inspect and clean all gutters & downspouts
• Check under all sinks and at toilets for any leaks
• Perform all of the recommended "Monthly Checklist" items
